Antello Z at Mannheim

GAIN Horse Feeds customers Christian Ahlmann and Cameron Hanley secured first and fourth places at the fifth leg of the Longines FEI World Cup in Stuttgart over the weekend. Christian Ahlmann and Codex One secured a home nation victory in a classic five-way jump-off, the 40-year-old rider and his 13-year-old stallion took the lead after an impressive clear round in the fastest time. Ahlmann has now moved up to third place on the Western European League leaderboard ahead of the sixth leg of the series in Madrid, Spain next Sunday.

Based in Germany, Irish rider Cameron Hanley   produced two faultless rounds of jumping to claim a fourth place finish with Z Acodate DDL. Hanley was the first to go clear in the opening round, a feat matched by only four other competitors from a top class international field of thirty-nine. Second to go in the jump-off, Hanley and the 11-year-old mare, owned by Patrick Mielnik, produced a second superb round of jumping.  It was a memorable weekend for Cameron who won the Winning Round competition at the show on Saturday night with his own 12 year-old bay gelding Antello Z.
