Frenetic Secures First Flier Victory

We were delighted to be associated with The Curragh Racecourse on the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby day with our sponsorship of the GAIN First Flier race.

The First Flier race is open to two year olds and is ran over a five furlong distance. This year, the race had seven runners go to post with the Ger Lyons trained ‘Frenetic’ taking victory with Colin Keane on board.

Frenetic is a bay filly, by Kodiac and owned by SBA Racing Ltd. This filly has won two races from two starts, the previous being at Navan earlier this month.

Second place went to Mooneista, trained by Jack Davison and ridden by Ronan Whelan. Third place and Best Turned Out went to Eastern Love, trained by Jim Bolger and ridden by Kevin Manning.

The feature race of the day very exciting with Aidan O’Brien proving dominant in the race with all top four placings.

The winner, Santiago was ridden by Seamie Heffernan; second place went to Tiger Moth ridden by Emmet McNamara; third place was Dawn Patrol ridden by Ronan Whelan and fourth went to Order of Australia ridden by Padraig Beggy.
