GAIN Equine Nutrition partner with Alltech to sponsor new CCI3* class at Camphire International Horse Trials

The 2017 CCI3* Camphire International Horse Trials and Country Fair which takes place this year from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th July, will see the new introduction of a long format three star class at sponsored by GAIN Equine Nutrition and Alltech. The distance on the three star cross country course has been increased to almost six kilometres making use of the favourable natural terrain at Camphire. For the first time, the cross country course for this feature class will run through the main showjumping arena where a complex of obstacles will need to be negotiated which will make for excellent viewing for spectators. Early indications are for a large overseas entries spread across all seven International classes that are on offer.

Once again the challenging cross-country course will be designed by renowned Olympic and World Equestrian Games course designer Mike Etherington-Smith along with Paul Brady.

Paul Brady, Event Organiser said, “Camphire’s unique natural terrain lends itself well to hosting a long format three star and we are looking forward to seeing such a high level competition taking place in West Waterford.
