Coleman Secures Victory in the GAIN Equine Nutrition CCI3*

GAIN Equine Nutrition were very proud to sponsor the CCI3*-L class at Camphire International Horse Trials this year.

Friday (26th July) was dressage day with a very high standard throughout the day. Great Britain’s Francis Whittington took the lead with an impressive score of 30.50; point one of a mark in front of Ireland’s Sian Coleman.

Saturday morning saw riders compete in the testing cross-country phase. The course, designed by Paul Brady challenged the riders and horses continuously, which saw just thirteen combinations, complete the course under the time allowed and incurring no penalties. Whittington, although clear over fences added two time penalties to his score, which pushed him into fourth position.

The show jumping phase took place on Sunday evening with twenty-two riders taking part in the final leg of the class. With only four combinations completing clear rounds, Sian Coleman took the spoils with Lady Baton Rouge on a final score of 30.6 penalties. Lauren Blades from Great Britain took the runner up position with a score of 32.2, while Selina Milnes, also of Great Britain took home third place.
